Nicolas Cage will play a US discernment officer in Oliver Stone’s Snowden film

Nicolas Cage will bring his unchecked enthusiastic drama to Oliver Stone’s up and coming film, Snowden, a fictionalized biopic of NSA informant Edward Snowden. Due date reports Cage will assume the part of a previous US discernment officer.

Confine joins a cast that incorporates Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, and Zachary Quinto. Pen and Stone have cooperated in the recent past, in the 2006 show World Trade Center.

Stone will receive the Snowden screenplay from two books: Time of the Octopus, a novel by Snowden’s legal counselor Anatoly Kucherena, and Luke Harding’s true to life work The Snowden Files, The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man.

Snowden touches base in US theaters on December 25th.
